Additional Amenities & fees
Indiana sales tax is 7%. Service charge is 20% for dinner and 22% for breakfast and lunch. No charge to bring in outside desserts and pastries. All food prices are subject to change without notice.
Policies, procedures, and Other Details
Room rental and deposits are non-refundable.
Crown Catering has a separate deposit and balance than the Hall rental and security.
Booking contract and payment- A contract must be signed and $500 deposit made at least 3 months prior to event date. A final headcount and meal selection is due 14 days prior to the event date. Half of total balance is due 90 days prior to event. Remaining balance is due days prior to the event date.
Cancellations - All cancellations will forfeit the deposit. Cancellations made 90 days before the event are subject to 50% of event costs. Cancellations made within 14 days of the event are subject to the full estimated event cost.
Damage charges - The Hall of Justice & Crown Catering reserves the right to charge an appropriate damage fee in the condition of the room and equipment after the event if deemed necessary. Confetti and glitter are not allowed.
Hazardous materials - The Hall of Justice prohibits using open-flame candles, floating lanterns, reworks, and sparklers.
Menu tasting- Tastings are held quarterly in a group setting. Information will be provided to clients via email. A maximum of 2 guests per even will be allowed at each tasting. Charge will be applied to final invoice.
Vendors- Vendors must contact the event coordinator-for set up times. Please see our suggested vendors. No charge to bring in your own arrangements or desserts.
Alcohol consumption- No liquor will be sold to or consumed on premises by any person under the legal drinking age. Crown Catering & Events has the right to refuse service to any person or persons. The bar will close 15 minutes before the event end time.
